Influenced by the late great jazz trumpeter/composer Miles Davis, Cuban jazz pianist Chucho Valdes and Brazilian multi-instrumentalist/composer Egberto Gismonti, Guedes has appeared with a long list of well-known artists including Dave Brubeck, The Commodores, Ray Charles, and has performed at private parties for the likes of Barack Obama, George Bush, Gerald Ford & Elton John.
