Carpe was founded by four friends from Nigeria and Ethiopia whose combined experience in business, the nightclub, and the hookah lounge industry led to the concept of Carpe: an upscale restaurant that transforms into an intimate and relaxed space to enjoy music, craft cocktails, and bottle service each night. The idea to serve a fusion of African and Afro-American cuisine came from a desire to further diversify the food options in downtown Dallas. The restaurant has been serving sensational dishes since opening in November 2023.
