Murals & Margs: Deep Ellum First Friday

Our first-ever Murals & Margs tours will transport you on an enchanted journey under the stars, through the vibrant street art and legendary tales of our historic neighborhood.

Your hosts will be Dallas’ most buzzed-about local artists, including Frank Campagna, founder of Kettle Art Gallery and the Godfather of Dallas Street Art.

Walking tours will meet under the twinkling lights of the Christmas tree in The Plaza on Main, transformed into a dazzling winter wonderland. Tour duration is approximately 45 minutes, starting at 6:00pm.

Tickets include a guided tour, a swag bag, and rooftop margaritas with a view of the city, voted Best International Skyline by USA Today.

ABOUT FIRST FRIDAY:

Starting on Friday, Dec. 1, the neighborhood will kick off a brand new monthly event—First Fridays in Deep Ellum! First Fridays will be an early evening/happy hour event between 5 – 8 pm.

The inaugural First Fridays event will take place on Friday, Dec. 1 as a part of the Deep Ellum Tree Lighting ceremony happening that same night. The tree will be located in the plaza area near Merit Coffee and most of the neighborhood will be lit with holiday lights. From Santa’s sleigh pulled by a low rider to ornament making stations, cookies and hot beverages, the tree lighting event will have something for everyone.
